At the heart of the local business community is a resilient group of small business owners that create the backbone of the local economy. Colorado small businesses made up 99.5% of all businesses in Colorado and employed 1.1 million people in 2014 according to the Small Business Administration.

Every day, small businesses are creating 21st century jobs, driving innovation and increasing the region’s economic impact. We believe that those of us who participate in this community have a lot to learn from one another, so we are launching the second annual Pikes Peak State of Small Business Survey with the help of our partners and supporters.

This year we are honored to have the support of our survey partners Pikes Peak National Bank, the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, and the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center. We have received additional support from SCORE Colorado Springs and the Southern Colorado Better Business Bureau.

This information is vital to providing targeted services that the community wants and needs. In addition, this year individuals who complete the survey also have a chance to win a $50 gift card. So help the community and possibly help yourself by completing the 2017 Pikes Peak State of Small Business Survey.

PikesPeakSmallBiz.com launched the Pikes Peak State of Small Business Survey in 2016. By incorporating insights from small business owners and sector professionals with traditional business metrics, we provide a comprehensive snapshot into the state of the Pikes Peak small business community.
